75 Hard R2: Week 3

Week 3 has come and gone. Let’s talk about it.

Struggles

Water. For some reason, out of no where, water has become the bane of my existence. It’s not that I don’t like drinking it all of the sudden, because has never been an issue. It just keeps taking me longer n the day to finish it. Now I do have a theory for this.

We have hit my busy time of the year at work, which will last through the middle of January, and I am just not remembering to drink the water. I get so wrapped up into my workday that I am neglecting the fact that just in general, I need to hydrate myself. Other than that, I’ve had no real struggle this past week. Next week is Thanksgiving though, and I have a feeling I may hit some road blocks.

Exercise Update

I’m running more. I actually ran for over 5 total minutes in one trip this week. I also tried incorporating an elliptical workout after one of my running sessions earlier in the week and have determined I should lead with that next time.

This upcoming week I start incorporating more strength training and more weights. The gym visits are giving me energy when I need it most.

Next week I’ll recap how much the upcoming Holiday fucked with my progress!
