Week 8 – Game Changer and Progress Report

There’s only 2 and a half weeks left in this journey of 75 Hard. I’ve learned to pat myself on the back and be proud of myself for getting this far. The positivity and well wishing from the people around me has been overwhelming to me personally and I am thankful for all of it.

Progress.

No real complications for the last week. Did a lot more walking than I had been doing over the weekend, mixed with overdoing it Monday morning has caused my knee to be in more pain than normal. I bought a knee brace a week ago that I wore for the first time today and it helped.

I’m hovering just under 310 pounds at the moment, and I think a lot of that may be stress. I also havnt pressed as hard on the type of second workout I had been doing and I’ll change that in week 9. I have a goal of breaking below 300 before day 75.

Game Changer

I also acquired a new pair of Hoka’s that were suggested to me by literally everyone I know who walks regularly lol.

I walked over 40k steps this past weekend and for the first time since I started walking my feet were not throbbing afterwards. I highly suggest anyone who plans on doing any amount of regular walking to check out a pair!

My goals for week 9

-Ramp up my second workout, try to push to that goal of 299lbs.
-Keep kicking ass
-Keep challenging myself
