Week 4 is in the books. Not without a lot of roadblocks. I DID DROP 2 POUNDS THOUGH!
Diet Struggles and Thanksgiving
As whole I had no real struggle with diet this week. I’m still not hitting all my macros so almost every day is starting a low carb day. So on the days I’m doing a little more intense of a workout im actually getting more out fi t that I planned. Having said that I feel I may be being a little too free with some of the food choices. Just because it fits the plan doesn’t mean I should actually eat it. Healthy food choice still matters!
Thanksgiving was good and because I basically didn’t eat anything with carbs all day, by the time Thanksgiving dinner rolled around I was ready to feast. Even then, I still was restrictive and didn’t overdo the carbs. One helping of potatoes, one roll, a little bit of Mac, and green bean casserole, and a lot of turkey. Followed it up with a slice of Pumpkin Pie. Was about what i normally want out of a higher calorie day with the problem of the high intensity workout with it, but that was a struggle in general this week because…
Exercise Struggles
So on Sunday of last weekend, I went for a walk for my second workout. When I arrived back at my house I ended up stepping into a whole in my yard and fucking up my ankle and knee. Those of you who know, know that I already have a bad left knee. So I spent 24 hours wearing a brace and icing both regularly
My walk on Monday morning saw what normally is a 2.4 mile walk in 50 minutes, turn into a 1.25 miles walk in 60, It was rough. But by Tuesday it was down to 2.1 in 55, and back to normal by Wednesday. Having said that, still lingering ssues with both knees and my left ankle. This has caused me to not hit the higher intsinsity workout goals I personally set for myself the way I wanted.
Having said all that, yesterday at the gym I did some weight lifting and finished with some treadmill. Today will see some virtual boxing to wear me down some. Hoping another week and I’ll be back in my routine.
